Canadian Association of Colorbred Canaries

The C.A.C.C is an association which specializes in breeding colourbred canaries.  Monthly meetings are held the first Tuesday of that month and the members converge to discuss many issues such as how to breed genetically, how to show, how to prepare a bird for a show and what qualifies a good show bird.  The C.A.C.C. stresses genetic breeding in canaries as well as breeding birds to standard.  the members focus on breeding pairs of birds with show quality traits in order to produce offspring with those traits.

There are frequent shows where the breeders bring what they feel are their best show birds and judges award the winners.  The judges brought in to the show are world-class international judges.  Also, there are some members who are North American judges as well who are invited to judge in shows through Canada and the United States.
