The DRCA is a non-profit Association comprised of members that are primarily interested in sharing their experiences with others in the Roller Canary fancy. Membership is free to members of any DRCA affiliated Club. One purpose of the DRCA is to provide a standard, based on the rules of uniformity needed when our Roller Canary Clubs hold song contest events. We have official standards for show cages, as well as for judging the song. The Executive of the DRCA also provides its members with the official closed leg band rings that identify genuine authenticity of pedigree . The DRCA Executive and its members keep themselves informed on all matters pertaining to the fancy by communicating with each other at Club meetings and through articles written and read in the DRC News. The DRC News is the official DRCA "non-profit" publication. A subscription to the DRC News can be obtained by contacting Peter Jaehrling (below). The rates for subscription to the News are posted in the home page of this site. Although the Executive Officers of the DRCA play a role in many responsibilities, the role they play to ensure that all members abide by our Constitution, is perhaps the most important one. |
