The Ontario Small Parrot Association is the first of its kind.  We are a parrot club specializing in small parrots, and specifically concentrating on the breeding and showing of these birds in captivity.

We are a brand new club, with only 1 show under our belts.  However, our first show was surprisingly successful, with over 60 small parrots entered. 

As serious small parrot breeders, we are governed by a group of directors instead of a president, in order to keep politics low.  Our judges will follow the AACC show standard on all parrots entered.  And we will show our parrots in standardized show boxes and standardized metal cages. 

Our next show is in November 2010 at the Brampton Fairgrounds.  Our hopes for the future include annual spring & fall shows, swap-meets and information sessions.
